SO, the blog is seriously quite dead eh?

The common tests are over! (sort of)

Some random stuff...

MSP presentation was yesterday...Thank you LENG YUK, ZENGJIN, JANELLE, DARYL,PETER for spending time to do this presentation. Hope you people get into the next round if there is a next round. :D

DHRP symposium was on monday and it was quite fun...sorry for not carrying the pail properly... haha i didnt hear the person say 3. i just heard 1 and 2...=.= And there were lots of photos but i'm not gonna post. Can come get from me if you people want.

So EOYS start on 12th october...

Just a few more months till we have to split up...D: it's really sad...we have gone so far together as a class. Chionging hw together, revising and mugging like siao, doing our best to score points for class league and stuff, laughed and cried together?(cry not so much i think) BUT most importantly we had FUN together as a class-2ERASMA:D And, we've made precious friends too. ANYWAY, maybe after 10 years or even more we can have a gathering or something...that will be interesting...but for now, enjoy the time we get to spend together as a class kay..

Hey 2E people...

First time i'm posting at class blog:)

Anyway, it's the common test period once again. *HOORAY!* =.=
So, some reminders for erasma-ians.
Geog test: Wedesday,5th Aug
词语考察: Wednesday,5th Aug
Math test: Thursday, 6th Aug

And next Wednesday,12th Aug is Chi CT and also theres a sci test next week if i'm not wrong.

But not to worry, there's also the national day holidays to look forward to. Some/most of us might be busy chionging revision...

AND also, remember to read your chinese books, cos the 阅读记录卡will be due in week8 i think.

So, good luck all 2E people for your revision but remember to take care:)

Hey guys, over the week, some erasma-ians had been staying back to do the banner for CIP. I'm very glad that it's so nice & awesome, that had won us a 2nd position.

Thanks to every single one of you who had helped out in one way or another. I must especially thank XueWen, for drawing everything out, before we can start working & touching up on the work. And Sibin, Sam, Yiksheng & waikei, for staying back almost everyday. I had collate the ppl who had done the CIP & will give to the tcher asap. So rest assured guys, that you'll definitely get ur CIP hrs. =)

Kay guys,

i'm here to tell y'all that we've a CIP task to do - draw a banner with regards to the theme- "water". Basically we can draw ANYTHING about it, but cannot be the same as other classes. So we've chosen the theme on Water Activities, mainly Water Sports.

ya, so we'll start working on the banner next tue, after school. It'll be outside the auditorium. Do drop by there at anytime to help us out! Pls tell me which day you'll be coming, so that i can allocate CIP points to yall.

That's right! CIP POINTS ARE AWARDED!!!! So especially to those who're not goin Towner Garden School, it's a chance to redeem urself. And for those who want to earn more CIP points, here's ur chance!!!

So, go to the piano area next tue,wed & thurs, after school and help to play a part in designing the banner! Looking 4ward to all erasma-ian's spontaneous participation!

We have some wonderful things to do this weekend!!!

1.Study for Chinese Test on Week 6 Day 7...JIAYOU PEOPLE XD
2.Do Reflections for Literary Circles
3.LA Artefacts.Oh yay boo
4.Do Checkpoint 2 for Math book...if you're hardworking.Even though Math Common Test has been postponed to Week 7 we still can't slack T.T
5.History project on Immigrants [due by Week 10]

And of course, this period happens to be the SYF and PRE-CONCERT PERIOD!!!

SYFs:
String Ensemble ---> 29th April. Haha jiayou Erasmanian from Strings [well there's only one so obviously it directs to Ben]

CONCERTS [update please...I don't know all the concert days]:
Chinese Society--->If I'm not wrong is it 9th May?I heard from my friend...
String Ensemble--->16th May
EDS--->23rd May
Symphonic Band--->6th June

Well if possible lets support our fellow erasmanians who are performing in the concert:)

King Vulture

The King Vulture, Sarcoramphus papa, is a large Central and South American bird in the New World vulture family Cathartidae. This vulture lives predominantly in tropical lowland forests stretching from southern Mexico to northern Argentina, though some believe thatWilliam Bartram's Painted Vulture of Florida may be of this species. It is the only surviving member of the genus Sarcoramphus, thoughfossil members are known.

It is large and predominantly white, with gray to black ruff, flight, and tail feathers. Its head and neck are bald, with the skin color varying, including yellow, orange, blue, purple, and red. The King Vulture has a very noticeable yellow fleshy caruncle on its beak. This vulture is a scavenger and it often makes the initial cut into a fresh carcass. It also displaces smaller New World vulture species from a carcass. King Vultures have been known to live for up to 30 years in captivity.

King Vultures were popular figures in the Mayan codices as well as in local folklore and medicine. Though currently listed as Least Concern by the IUCN, they are decreasing in number, due primarily to habitat loss
